Danfoss oil burner controls
Danfoss introduces 3 new types of control boxes and at the same time new functionalities are introduced on all types. In connection with the updates the new designation OBC 80 series in introduced and as well new code numbers.

The OBC 81A.12 and OBC 82A.12 have short post ignition times and have remote reset and alarm. Further they do both have ignition on terminal 6 and 7 which is helpful especially in servicing old BHO61 and BHO64 series and as well various LOA types.

The OBC 85B.10 is for burners requesting post purge to cool down the burner chamber after end of the heating period.


New functionalities

All models are now with a green LED light indicator. During the preheating time of the oil the LED flashes green. As soon the oil reaches the wished temperature and the control box starts with pre-purge and pre-ignition the LED changed to constant green light.

The reset can now be made in reset mode (constant red light) and as well in failure code mode (flashing red light). Finally a failure code for wrong/poor wiring or EMC noise is introduced (application failure). In the case of application failure the flash code is a 1 Hz flashing all the time.
